Dreaming of the dolce vita in Rennes? Chabada transports you to Italy with its Sicilian origins through the mother of owner Jordane Orain. The restaurant is a hymn to pleasure and celebration. The warm, chic ambience is set ablaze in the evening by the presence of a DJ. Of course, we tried the pasta (it's homemade and served generously). On this particular day, it was accompanied by guanciale, otherwise known as pork cheeks. The desserts are not lacking in indulgence either. The restaurant will soon be offering a reduced menu in the afternoon for those who are a little hungry outside traditional service hours, to satiate themselves with savoury or sweet delights.
