Tavern offering Greek cuisine and nibbles with various starters offered.
Located in one of the city's most picturesque streets, this tavern is quite unusual! The discreet, narrow entrance leads us to the back rooms, which are welcoming and cool when the Rennes sun reaches its zenith! In a well-decorated, not too kitsch setting, we find the great classics of Greek cuisine: marinated lamb kebabs, moussaka, homemade kebab, Greek salad... Open for 40 years, the Taverne aux murs blancs is a little piece of Greece in Brittany. To escape, contemplate the large canvas framed to fit the beams: some will immediately recognize the columns of Poseidon's temple, which have stood for 2,500 years on Cape Sounion, southeast of Athens. Malgré une heure bien tardive pour dîner "23h30", nous avons été très bien accueillis, la Moussaka et le méga Mezzé nous ont régalé, le chef nous a offert avec gentillesse un p'tit digestif à l'abricot. Toute l'équipe est charmante et fort sympathique.

Excellent dîner. Plusieurs choix de menus. Nous avons testé celui a 32€ (apéritif, entrée, plat, dessert, café ou thé au choix sur toute la carte). Je recommande absolument. Excellent service, professionnel, très agréable.

L'accueil est parfait et le service est très agréable. Il a été possible d'adapter le menu pour prendre en groupe le méga mezzé.
Le cadre est charmant, avec une esthétique originale. C'est relativement silencieux. Une arrière salle est disponible pour les groupes nombreux.
