At the exit of Sainte-Anne square, in the heart of urban animation, this address is exotic and friendly. Specialized in islands kitchen and Creole cuisine. When you cross the door you feel transported to sunny beaches and ready to discover the vast ocean and its mysteries. Framed by orange walls, we are immersed in an atmosphere made of Raggae and Mediterranean waters. Barrels, coconut and old rum lay the decor. Spices with spices and coconut milk, Creole chicken, cod accras, sausage rougaille, a wide selection of fish, or Ackee and Saltfish (Jamaican national dish) will make you travel through Leurs perfumes. Desserts are as exotic as amazing, and for a total experience, finish your meal with an old rum of the selection of the chef! If you prefer to travel from your living room, all the dishes are available for sale. The restaurant also accommodates groups of up to 25 people. A warm and typical atmosphere that is strongly recommended!
La nourriture était très bonne et en bonne quantité pour le prix. On n'avait plus faim après, et c'était un régal. J'ai pris le Colombo de poulet et mon copain le steak d'estragon, et nous avons également pris des bananes frites (c'est un régal, ne venez pas sans en prendre !).
Les serveurs étaient gentils, serviables et nous ont bien expliqué la carte quand on en avait besoin. On a un peu attendu, mais ils semblaient n'être que deux pour un restaurant plein à craquer, et l'attente était vraiment peu longue vu ces conditions.
L'ambiance est chaleureuse, cosy, malgré un petit espace. On était à l'étage, c'est très cool ! Je ne sais pas si ça fait très caribéen, vu que je n'ai jamais mis les pieds là-bas, mais en tout cas l'ambiance est vraiment cool, on n'est pas collés les uns au autres.
J'y reviendrai avec plaisir, et je recommande cette adresse !
