Restaurant offering good couscous with various meats, vegetables and traditional Moroccan bread.
Sitting in the main room of this restaurant, which counts several, we settle in a room with typical decoration: tent, large tables and objets items that remind us of our last trip to Morocco. A Marrakech air that is well present. Noradine, the master of the places is there to welcome us and here we are in a great conversation about the country. Then the map arrives and between couscous, tajines and grills, we end up choosing. It will be a good couscous. And it comes with a plethora of dishes. It is well smoked with semolina, vegetables, assorted meats and traditional Moroccan bread. One wonders if you're going to get everything to eat the quantity served. After a few bites, we travel and share memories and good humour. The couscous gives us joy because it's good. A small rosé wine from Morocco accompanies our culinary journey: it is nice and the trip is there. A beautiful address that deserves a regular visit, both conviviality and taste are at the meeting. And then the Berber canvas is the guaranteed exoticism! There is tea in mint and the evening has already envolée! For a moment full of flavours… A wonderful Moroccan restaurant. And if you come into a group, the place is ideal with its three rooms. In addition, you can prepare for a méchoui, couscous or even paella. A restaurant very often rewarded by many awards.

Restaurant à éviter pour la mauvaise humeur du patron !!!
Tentative de réservation environ 1 mois avant faite par téléphone avec 4 appels sans réponse aux heures d'ouverture et un dernier appel avec comme réponse "Monsieur, on ne me dérange pas pendant le service". Nous avons fini par laisser un message sur son répondeur... Je précise que nous sommes clients depuis une vingtaine d'années. Début novembre on passait devant, alors on s'est arrêté pour juste s'assurer que notre réservation avait bien été enregistrée mais il a fallu attendre 20 minutes pour que le patron s'occupe de nous (vu que c'est lui qui faisait la cuisine, le service et qui desservait les tables). D'une sale humeur, il nous a balancé qu'il fallait prendre rendez-vous pour lui parler !!! (et je passe sur les autres réflexions qu'il nous a faites). Il a fini par noter la réservation sur un bout de papier en disant qu'il serait peut être fermé. Le jour prévu, nous avons, sans surprise, trouver le restaurant fermé mais on s'y attendait. Aucun message de la part du patron.

On comprend mieux pourquoi ce patron restaurateur peine à trouver et garder ses employés !
