Rennes bus and metro services combine in a single service with an evocative name: STAR (Service de transport en commun de l'agglomération rennaise). Since September 20, 2022, line B of the metro has been in service, allowing passengers to reach Cesson-Sévigné on one side and Saint-Jacques de la Lande on the other, with a stop at Beaulieu (University). The metro runs from 5.15 a.m. to 0.45 a.m. from Monday to Wednesday, until 1.45 a.m. from Thursday to Saturday, and from 7.25 a.m. to 0.45 a.m. on Sundays and public holidays - except May1st, the only day of the year when the metro does not run. 7 park-and-ride facilities are available for free parking with a valid ticket.
