Restaurant for a nice bistronomic stopover, benefiting from a grocery corner that allows you to leave with home-made pickles.
Located 15 minutes from Rennes, La Mézière is home to a fine gastronomic stopover. Alban Gardien and Alexis Lionnais are at the helm, having worked their way up through the ranks of Michelin-starred establishments before opening their own restaurant. Mises en bouche and creative mignardises mark the beginning and end of a delightful gustatory journey punctuated by round or racy wines. In between, we discover surprising but highly successful pairings, such as this dish combining red tuna, roasted melon, fennel and tamarind cream. Service is top-notch. And to finish off, we'd be delighted to take a tour of the cellar and leave with a wine tasted at table or a carefully selected liqueur. An address to be discovered as a matter of urgency!
