In the heart of the historic center of Fougères, in a peaceful setting, the Hotel Balzac is housed in a former 18th-century townhouse and takes its name from the famous writer, who came to do research for Les Chouans. Since the end of November 2023, the hotel has been carrying out renovations in all its rooms, in order to modernize its overall welcome. During the day, a tea and coffee service is available. In the reception area, you'll find tourist information, magazines and the daily press.

Un endroit qui est très chic et très paisible le personnel est très aimable et respectueux je recommande vivement cet endroit charmant et vraiment au cœur de la ville de fougères où il fait beau et bon vivre

Bon établissement (même s'il est en restauration), le maître des lieux est accueillant ainsi que le personnel. Les lieux sont corrects et la localisation du bâtiment permet un stationnement proche.
