This strange 50-ton menhir is said to be sinking at the rate of an inch per century, and impresses those who discover it. It is fascinating, with an outline of 8.70 m at its widest point and a height of almost 9.30 m. This menhir is located 1 km from Dol: it's the largest in Ille-et-Vilaine and one of the most beautiful in Brittany. Legend has it that the devil threw it here in an attempt to crush the cathedral Samson was building. You be the judge.
