Bar-restaurant with terrace offering seafood platters and seafood sauerkraut.
If you feel like tasting seafood while contemplating the view from the panoramic room upstairs (breathtaking view of the bay), the Rocher de Cancale is sure to please you. In this bar-restaurant, which specialises in the treasures of the ocean, you can enjoy, for example, seafood platters, sauerkraut from the sea, oysters from the Maison Goudé or, from June to October, bouchot mussels from the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel, accompanied by various sauces. On sunny days, enjoy the beautiful sunny terrace.

Very pleasant Étabissementt, apparemmenttt the terrace and furniture have been refurbished recently, by a new management. We went 2 times suite eat a seafood platter and a menu with 27.90 lobster and seafood and dessert, nothing to say about the quantities and quality. For me, it is a good value for money, recommended.
Menu apparament very affordable standing with 12€50 we sit under the very stuck gaze of management (I think)
the waitress gives us the menus or the menu in 12€50 therefore is not reproduced asked him OK (1st coauac) on the menu Breton Far is available but there is 12:05 does not have more (2nd false note) asks information on omelettes of MT St Michel (explains that the interior is a little sparkling) and it serves an omelette us that you can eat that soup spoon in so it was liquid (1 false note) and saying would be fragrant fish that you are still looking (and still 1) mussels not at all marine (the name to say it from the sea) milky oysters as the rest inmangeable to fusion (On nous Same step they are offered)

At the beginning, eye-catching menu. But what a disappointment! An unpleasant management, which is happy to order by watching the horizon and while priding itself on a " it is normal that the menu is not on the carte" (do not know why???), a waitress who did not loosen your teeth while being served or serving (you can even less evoke the smile!), wines at the jug unreasonable prices (€14.50 50 Cl - prohibitory, not?): a total dissatisfaction. Do the managers of this establishment take the time to read the comments guests? In short, it is better to go its way to mark a break in this place.

The first edge: nice location and reasonable prices on the menu. Reality? That gave them the poster " recommended by the small paumé" never had to foot on it! Apparently to ask clean seats concerns an abuse given the sigh (1st long series) waitress, who also did not watch us once. And so they were still good! The main course fish in try dishes: a student must be better main course DS his studio. The entrance? oysters reliable a priori: not even. that was not to be those sold at a few metres away on the port obviously because that you tasted them too. In short: no view, unpleasant to possible, a seafood smell last and not even a light touch. We would have better done abstain.

Beautiful menus poster and large question, reality be high? In the menu €26.90 we chose a seafood platter followed by a grilled lobster: reality was the height: a beautiful seafood platter, quantity and quality (We are very used to attend the restaurants everywhere in Brittany, but also in France even abroad.)
We had beautiful oysters, whelks, winkles, shrimps (pink and grey) a little crab (spider) and six beautiful crayfish. Served with adequate sauces and very fresh.
Lobster, beautiful size (about 350/400 gr) grilled, served with sauce and rice. Nothing to say; perhaps it had had pré to break the claws...
Nondescript desserts, could better!
Excellent coffee. TOTAL €90 for two with a bottle of POUILLY SMOKES of very good.
GOOD ADDRESS in CANCALE where there are many offers.
