BODADEG AR SONERIEN PENN AR BED

For over sixty years, the Bodadeg ar Sonerion or B.A.S. association has been training players and organizing traditional music championships. Its aim is to revive traditional Breton music, and in particular the bombard and biniou. It is the driving force behind the bagad, a Breton instrumental ensemble of some forty players (bombards, bagpipes and percussion), a mythical symbol of Breton musical culture. Today, the association boasts 80 associations, around 100 bagadoù and over 6,000 members.
