The management of this observatory is devolved to two distinct entities: the engineering school IMT Atlantique, which owns the site, and the association Gens de la Lune, which owns the astronomical equipment used. The observatory is open very frequently, as soon as the sky is clear. To find out the dates and times of the observation evenings, it is therefore imperative to regularly consult the agenda available on the website (sometimes the decision to open the dome is even taken only a few hours before the evening!). Moreover, the association usually meets there on the first Friday of the month at 6 pm; this is the occasion to make contact for possible future astronomical outings.
