The Bescond family has been involved in oyster farming for over 60 years. Located on the Aber Benoît and Aber Wrac'h, the oyster beds are visible at low tide and extend over seven hectares. The tanks offer a wide range of seafood: clams, oysters, periwinkles, lobsters and more. And, of course, the fleshy, tasty mussels, bred on ropes in the open sea. This type of farming, unique in the Abers region, produces firm, non-milky oysters, for which the Beg Ar Vill fishponds ("pebble point" in Breton) are renowned.
