The large weekly market of Fouesnant, with its 150 exhibitors, takes place every Friday morning on the Place du Général De Gaulle, but also on part of the Rue de Kerourgué, the top of the Rue d'Armor, the bottom of the Rue de Cornouaille and also on the Penker crossing. On Saturday mornings, on the other hand, it is the organic market, run by local farmers, in the Place de l'Eglise. You will find quality products from certified producers (cheeses, fruit and vegetables, bread, meat, meat, flowers and plants...) In July and August, Fouesnant extends its offer and also offers a market in Beg Meil on Wednesday mornings in the Kervastard car park, note that parking is prohibited from 7 to 3pm

CIDRERIE MENEZ BRUG

Cider grower

You can't miss it and, above all, don't miss it. In the campaign of the renowned beach resort of Beg Meil, you can find the only cider from the town. Born in Fouesnant, Claude fell into apples from his earliest age and bathed in the cider of the family farm from Kerveguen to Beg Meil. Passionate about the diversity of cider apples, traditional production of the fouesnantais country, he became expert in knowledge of local varieties both for agronomic qualities and cidricoles. It is, of course, that after beginning his career as a dairy controller, he eventually became full-time cidrier. It was in 1989. He was able to convey his passion to his children who, after Oenology studies for Stéven, and corporate management studies for Lénaïg, resumed in early 2013 the continuation of this workshop in the heart of the appellation area. Today, they offer one of the most subtyped and typical Ciders ciders, mainly extracted from local apple varieties. It will surprise us with such a wonderful legacy of continuing the harvest of numerous prestigious medals at national competitions, the latest of which, the 2014 gold medal in AOP Cidre and the award of excellence 2013!
