The abbey of Daoulas, founded in the 12th century, is a major cultural place in Brittany, both for its site (abbey, Romanesque cloister with a remarkable basin, fountain and oratory of the 16th century...) and for the exhibitions organized there. Starting from June 2015, and for 6 months, it is a place for meditating about love by asking yourself multiple questions: Wedding with or without love? For the lifetime of for a time? Wedding for two or polygamous? Big celebration or an intimate one? In short, which are the ways to be "together" in 2015? With the programme: art works and other objects of interest relating to the themes, testimonies, cinema, songs, for the wedding portrait in all its states.

Opening time and information on ABBAYE DE DAOULAS

Open from 27 March 2019 to 5 January 2020. Closed on December 25 and January 1. From March 27 to June 13 and from September 23 to January 5: every day 1:30 pm - 6 pm. From June 14 to September 22: every day from 10:30 am to 7 pm. Admission: 5 €. Free for children under 7 years old. Child: 1 €. 3 € for 18-25 year olds. Accessibility to gardens and exhibition for people with reduced mobility. Restoration.

Passage incontournable en Finistère. Bien placé sur la route à 4 voies entre Lorient et Brest. 7 €, Architecture remarquable, parfaitement entretenue. Un parc toujours aussi agréable; avec son jardin de plantes médicinales très fourni. On pourrait y passer des heures de contemplation. En ce moment, exposition sur les croyances et les rites magiques du monde entier, de l'Europe en particulier. Bon éclairage ethnologique, quelques clins d’œil (passer ou pas sous l'échelle). Des guides excellents. Boutique et cafèt à la sortie. Compter une heure.
