This church houses a monumental mural painting, a Tree of Jesse made in 1500
Saint-Bris-le-Vineux is a wine village full of architectural treasures. The church is one of them. Its origins date back to the5th century, when the bishop Saint Germain would have discovered the burial place of Saint Prix and Saint Cot, two martyrs, and would have had a chapel built there. Built in the 12th and 13th centuries, it was rebuilt in the 15th, 16th and 17th centuries. In its choir, there is a monumental mural painting: a Tree of Jesse made in 1500.
