Neunhoffen casemate in Dambach, 92 m long, with a concrete dam system closed by wooden beams
The Neunhoffen pillbox barred access to the valley with two machine guns under armoured bells. Together with the neighbouring pillboxes, it was a veritable barrage of fire that was being set up to defend the region. Here we also see dike number 8. It is 92 metres long and has a concrete dam system with wooden beam closure. Its interior allowed the soldiers to remain completely autonomous, safe from gas attacks.
