Decorated restaurant where one eats copiously dishes like its famous Haxasukrut or the Sauerkraut of the Witch
It's impossible to leave the center of Rouffach without making a detour to the Haxakessel restaurant to sample its famous "Haxasukrut", which translates as "Witch's Sauerkraut". Other specialties include Munster gratin, ham, calf's head, snails and baeckaoffa. A place where you can eat copiously, but also take pleasure in detailing the decor. The restaurant lives up to its name by hanging witches from the ceiling, the emblem of the establishment.
