The Koeberlé-Kreyer family, who have been winegrowers from father to son since 1760, are located just under the wing of the Haut-Koenigsbourg castle between Bergheim and Saint-Hippolyte. They cultivate the 9.8 ha of their estate on parcels located on the Grand Cru Gloeckelsberg (a real natural amphitheater with granite soil) as well as on the Silberberg area (clay-limestone soil). Pinot noir, the emblematic grape variety of the commune, is of course the flagship of the estate. But very nice vintages of pinot gris and riesling are also produced by the Koeberlé-Kreyer estate.
