KNEPFELFACHT

Organized by the Riquewihr Festival Committee, this friendly event is placed under the sign of the quenelle! Knepfla (in Alsatian version) is a traditional dish that has been present since the dawn of time on family tables in the region. The first edition of this gastronomic festival took place in June 2016 under the impetus of Yves Haas who wanted to highlight this local product that had never been celebrated before in Alsace! On the menu for the festivities: tasting of numerous varieties of Knepfla proposed by restaurant owners associated with Riquewihr wine growers, culinary competition for amateurs, musical entertainment, cabaret show and evening meal with orchestra, all in a good-natured atmosphere. Don't miss the 2020 edition to discover flavours that are 100% Alsatian, but also Asian, Oriental and other flavours without borders: there is certainly something for everyone at the Knepfelfacht in Riquewihr!
