Nice restaurant with shaded terrace offering delicious pizzas in Riquewihr.

Alexandra and Joséphine welcome you to their friendly restaurant located in a quiet area away from the flow of tourists in the city. Here, we sit in a typical Alsatian cellar with a rustic and authentic decor. The welcome is very pleasant and you can enjoy good dishes such as the gratin of potatoes topped with cheese, fillet of pike-perch with Riesling, royal sauerkraut or the famous flambéed tarts and for dessert, beautiful home-made tarts. The +: during the Christmas market, there are two services on the weekend and different suggestions.

Nous avions réservé en nous fiant aux très nombreux avis positifs. Nous avons été très déçues. Le risotto était sec, pas gourmand, aucune onctuosité, les morceaux de potimarrons et les champignons juste posés sur un riz réchauffé. Et la choucroute très fade (pas le bon goût du vin blanc et des baies, morceaux de viande de mauvaise qualité).
Par gourmandise, nous avons terminé avec un kouglof glacé, à nouveau grosse déception. On s'attendait à quelque chose de gourmand mais uniquement de la glace avec un seul raisin sec à l'intérieur!

Nous avons goûté au Baker of et au Poisson :le cendre sur un lit de choucroute. C’était très très bon… Puis nous avons terminé par un kouglof bien arrosé de alcool parfumé. Le service était irréprochable. le Personnel était souriant, disponible… Nous avons beaucoup aimé… Les matières premières étaient de première qualité. Et la bière de Noël délicieuse.
