Restaurant offering a menu full of goodies: foie gras, pâté vigneron, salmon filet with sorrel, sauerkraut...

The Caveau d'Orschwihr speciality is fondue! Bourguignonne, vigneronne or Bacchus: the choice is yours, but in any case, they're all made with extra-fresh meat, accompanied by large portions of French fries and an array of sauces. As for the menu, it's full of goodies: foie gras, pâté vigneron, salmon filet with sorrel, veal escalope forestière, well-stocked sauerkraut... The setting is rustic chic, and the welcome and service are top-notch!

La fondue vigneronne était succulente, le veau vraiment de très bonne qualité.
Service sympathique.
Le cadre est agréable, dommage la table en L qui empêche de discuter avec tous les convives.

La viande est excellente mais il y a trop de tables par rapport à la place disponible à l'intérieur. On se retrouve très à l'étroit pour manger ce qui rend l'ambiance très oppressante et très bruyante du fait des conversations multiples et très proches.
Mais, encore une fois, la viande pour la fondue était incroyable. Rien à dire sur la qualité des plats.

Un peu trop de monde, le caveau est victime de son succès. Sinon leur fondue vigneronne est toujours aussi savoureuse. Il manque cependant une petite salade.
