Built in 1895, the Sanno Club was a prestigious Japanese restaurant for over a century. Now transformed into a cultural venue, it invites visitors to delve into Sakata's history through a variety of exhibits: objects linked to the Kitamae merchant ships of the Edo period, works by master doll-maker Jusaburo Tsujimura, and charming hanging kasafuku ornaments, symbols of happiness. You can even create your own kasafuku at a workshop (reservation required), and take home a lucky souvenir.
