Allow 1h30-2 hours from Makassar, but the views and ambience are well worth the detour. The place is spacious, cool and perfect for sitting back, daydreaming and picnicking with friends. In the caves, you'll find original cave paintings. Impressive! Access requires climbing several hundred steps, some of them steep, but you'll be delighted by this journey into the past. A word of warning: beware of guides who always ask for more money.
