Opened in 2019, this temporary border crossing links Strezimir/Стрезимир, in Northern Macedonia, to Restelica/Рестелица (population approx. 4,600), in the beautiful and very remote Gora region of Kosovo. It's only open for part of the summer, sometimes only to locals. It was created to enable members of the Goran minority living in Urvič/Урвич (population 740) and Jelovjane/Јеловјане (population 500) to travel to the Gora, where the Gorans number around 10,000.
