MUSÉE FOLKLORIQUE DE DANIĆI

Established in 2010, this small museum (Etno Muzej u Danićima/Етно Mузеј у Данићима) is run by the Gacko tourist office. In a modern building built next to a recent chapel dedicated to St. Peter, there is a collection of objects from the 18th-20th centuries of the Bosnian-Serb peasants of the region: a cauldron for preparing rakija, a straw hut, agricultural tools, etc. The municipality of Danići/Данићи has about 40 Bosnian-Serb inhabitants scattered throughout the Gacko polje.
