MAQSORAT ALSWAILEM

The village of Bukayriyah was founded by the grandfather of Al Swailem. He had an adobe palace built in the palm grove. Perfectly renovated, one can visit it and admire the narrow rooms decorated with geometrical patterns, the ceilings of palm wood and gorse, the floors covered with thick colored wool carpets. It has hosted several generations of princes. The 17th century palace is still surrounded by palm trees that provide a pleasant green space. A well stands in front of the entrance door with its sheaves still visible.
