Jebel Soudah is one of the highest mountains in Saudi Arabia, belonging to the Sarawat range, the southern portion of the Hejaz that runs along the western side of the country. The debate rages about the exact height of this mountain and whether it is the highest point in the country. Long considered at 3,133 meters above sea level, the mountain was measured at 2,999 meters in 2018, 3 meters lower than Jebel Ferwa. Still, you are flirting with 3,000 meters and the mountains are beautiful. The scenic road from Abha to the village of Rijal Alma passes by the summit. The view is sumptuous.
