Hotel Trolltunga is ideally located in the heart of Odda town. The beautiful building dates back to 1928 but was renovated in 2017. In 2021, more rooms were added to the floor of a new wing, as well as a spectacular glass restaurant in front of the hotel. The interior is a mix of Nordic, modern and retro decor. The direct environment is incredible: mountains, waterfalls and glacier water. Nature is the main background. An ideal base camp for exploring the beautiful Hardanger region.

I made a reservation in this hotel three weeks before to do the trolltunga hike. Unfortunately, I torn my ankle, so I requested a refund with at least 10 days in advance. After 3 days of waiting for them to answer, I called the office, and they told me that they have a non-refund policy. Be careful.
