MT HUTT SKI FIELD

Mt Hutt is the largest resort on the South Island, with 3.65 km² of skiable area. It is also one of the most famous and popular resorts, with a vertical drop of 683 metres. It is very accessible and can accommodate all levels, both skiing and snowboarding. The season generally runs from June to October and can be reached in 35 minutes from Methven, 45 minutes from Christchurch and 55 minutes from Ashburton. You will need to live in one of these three towns as there is no accommodation on site.
