Traditional Quinta offering comfortable rooms fully furnished with collectors' items.

This beautiful traditional quinta has been recognized as a historical monument and now welcomes visitors eager for authenticity. While it still has its livestock and orchard (a godsend for the organic breakfast and dinner that can be served), one is immersed here in the middle of nature, between land and sea, between the Sierra de Santa Bárbara and the lookouts that face the neighboring islands of São Jorge and Pico. In short, a dream environment, where you can hear blackbirds and robins singing, to put your bags in comfortable rooms entirely furnished with collectors' items. Beds, tables, paintings, engravings... Some rooms even date back to the 18th century and each room is obviously unique. And don't worry, each room also has all the modern comforts (air conditioning, TV, Wi-Fi connection). In short, a unique place where the family of the historian Francisco Maduro-Dias will always welcome you with a smile.

Un lugar encantador

Great overall experience. The hosts are exceptionally kind and curious. They provide a great Azorean breakfast and eat/chat with you and the other guests. The furniture is all antique (with intriguing stories). Would recommend as a cultural experience for a few days.
