Two small lakes with a wonderfully pastoral landscape, a place where you can come for the day.
To access it, it is indicated from the transversal road that connects Angra to Biscoitos, shortly after the junction to Santa Bárbara and Cabrito. If you are coming from the Serra, take the fourth exit. A sign indicates the forest road CF 24 and, a hundred meters further on, the direction of São Bartolomeu on the right. Once engaged, continue straight ahead, then slightly to the right. Continuing along the road, we reach these two small lakes. A wonderfully pastoral landscape, the kind of place where you can come for the day.

Une autre façon d'accéder au lac est de partir de Doze Ribeiras et de prendre la ER5 vers le Lagoa da falca ( ou das patas). Et si le temps est dégagé, de prendre une route à gauche vers le Pico de Santa Barbara, 1000m. Le détour en vaut la peine car le paysage s'ouvre majestueusement sur l'île de Pico et sur son volcan.
Beautiful landscape, peaceful. Great Lakes surrounded by mountains, few visitors... Good place to be quiet and to relax... unless you do not duck noise:)
