Located north of Pangnirtung and 430 km from Iqaluit, this national park is one of the most remote in the country, offering awe-inspiring landscapes in the heart of the tundra and the Arctic climate. The program includes steep granite peaks, glittering glaciers, steep-sided fjords and an abundance of wildlife. A favourite with mountaineers, hikers and cross-country skiers, especially in the backcountry, it is not recommended that you venture out alone unless you are experienced and fully self-sufficient.
