A small rural community in Colchester and Cumberland counties, Five Islands takes its name from the islands that make up the archipelago (Moose, Diamond, Long, Egg and Pinnacle). Two of the islands - Diamond and Moose - are included in Five Islands Provincial Park. The park's cliffs, 90 meters high, overlook the highest tides in the world. Several activities are available, including hiking the Economy Mountain Trail. It is also possible to camp on site. The park is open in winter, but without any services. On the mainland, check out the beautiful and historic Five Islands Lighthouse, which is open during the summer.
