The Nabugabo Holiday Centre has fully equipped and clean cottages, a spacious and pleasant campsite and a small beach from which you can take a dip in the lake. The site, where the vervets and birds have a great time, is generally restful during the week. The staff, very friendly, organizes or helps to organize activities around the lake (boat trips, bird watching...). Between breakfast and dinner, you can watch the fishermen at work on their pirogues.

While the rock bandas are unique and cute, they could use some work. rotten wood, torn screens & bugs indoors.
Wi-Fi works ONLY in the reservations building and is sporadic at best.
While the breakfast is good, dinners can be atrocious. I ordered a chicken breast one evening. It was an extremely small piece of meat so overcooked it was like chewing shoe leather. I was lucky to get a tablespoon of edible meat off of it. Be prepared to be nickel and dimed to death by management.
I have stayed here twice before but this is the last time I'll ever stay here. I found a much better place down the road.
