This is certainly the most beautiful hotel in Symi! Located on Kali Strata, the beautiful bourgeois street that links the port to Horio, The Old Markets promises a unique experience, in a romantic and luxurious setting. The ten rooms and suites are housed in two magnificently renovated historic buildings: one in the former stalls of what was once the agora, the covered market, and the other in the neoclassical villa of a former local captain. The rooms are tastefully decorated, the service impeccable: an establishment of intimate luxury.

The Old Markets deserves every one of its 5 stars! Everything about it is 5 star - location (reconsider Symi if you are not up to lots of stair climbing), hospitality, rooms (suggest you choose one in the Captain's mansion if you want sunlight and killer views), Korres amenities, delicious breakfasts and the most wonderful and welcoming staff. Special mention to Daniel, Elizabeth and the wonderful co-owner Carlo - everyone - even the gardener who happily retrieved my drying sock which had blown into a vine! This place is a jewel on an island that is truly unique. We leave reluctantly with the fondest of memories!

Great location! You don’t have to climb so high as it’s right in the middle of the town. Rooms are very updated with old market charm & flair.
