The north of Hauru and Tiahura Point are the major tourist pole of the island of Moorea. It must be said that the area boasts very beautiful beaches, two large motus including the motu Tiahura, which hosts the Coco Beach restaurant, and the largest concentration of hotels in Polynesia (except on the west coast of Tahiti). Once again, don't expect to land in Disney Land! The atmosphere remains quiet, although a little more lively than elsewhere, and the hotel infrastructure is never overwhelming. Most of the animation is concentrated within the Intercontinental and the modest shopping centre of the Petit Village.
