Installed since 1998, Vincent, a state-qualified instructor, invites you to discover the seabed of Moorea's lagoon by walking underwater! Equipped with a simple helmet on your head, no need to know how to swim, and accessible from age 6, it's a great way to share a moment with family and friends. You'll be transported by the surrounding flora and fauna, where it's not unusual to see stingrays and a multitude of colorful fish joining in the symphony. Located in Tiahura, Aquablue Moorea is an ideal activity for families, couples or friends. It's a great way to explore the marine life of French Polynesia! Since 1998, this activity has been offering a unique helmet diving experience. Specially designed yellow helmets are available for you to walk underwater, with no need for swimming skills. A qualified instructor will accompany you on every dive to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
Your tour begins with a concise and informative presentation of the activity and equipment. You then take a ladder down to the lagoon. Underwater, at a depth of around five meters, you can explore, jump, dance and take photos among the colorful fish, for around 30 minutes. Thanks to the continuous air supply in your helmet, you'll breathe as naturally as you would on land.
At the end of your expedition, you climb back up the ladder to the InterContinental Resort & Spa Moorea pontoon. Accessible from the age of six, this activity allows you to discover the magnificent underwater world of Moorea, one of the most beautiful sites in French Polynesia, in complete safety.
