ASO ROCK
The national emblem and massive symbol of Abuja is unfortunately not open to visitors, due to its proximity to a military zone. It's not for nothing that the term is also used to designate the central political power, a sort of Nigerian White House . Nevertheless, urban legends abound as to whether or not it's possible to climb to the top, and in any case, it's possible to take a stroll in the surrounding area, from where you'll already have some very fine panoramic views of the city. Even more so than elsewhere, don't move forward without the agreement of local residents!
