CATHEDRAL - NATIONAL CHRISTIAN CENTRE

No matter where you are in the city, it's impossible to miss the imposing drape of thousands of copper tiles glinting in the sunlight. This modern church, inaugurated in 2005, rises to 35 metres with its spire-like architecture. Managed by the Christian Association of Nigeria, it houses a large electronic organ and can accommodate up to 8,000 worshippers. The interior, spare and luminous, combines white walls with green, yellow and white stained-glass windows. Last but not least, the astonishing central altar... rotates.
