Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport

Abuja's Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, just 40 minutes from the city center, is the country's second largest airport after Lagos. Modern and well served, it handles domestic flights to all major Nigerian cities, as well as international connections to Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The recently renovated terminals offer decent, if uneven, service, with stores, lounges and fast-food outlets. Check-in times can be lengthy.
