TYROLEAN MINING MUSEUM (BERGBAUMUSEUM)

The Mining and Metallurgy Museum in Brixlegg takes us back to the world of miners and mining. Almost 6,000 years of history can be discovered in this museum. There are several exhibitions on mining, geology and regional prehistory. The soil of Tyrol is particularly rich in minerals, silver and copper mines were exploited here. Metal has been worked in Tyrol since the Bronze Age.
