LAKE OBERNBERG

This emerald mountain lake in the Stubai Alps is an enchanting excursion destination surrounded by unspoilt nature. It takes about an hour to walk around the lake, and a footbridge across the water leads to a lovely chapel crowned by a bulbous bell tower. Situated at an altitude of 1,600 metres, this lake has a very pretty color. Easy hike. 240 m ascent. 6 kilometers in all. Allow 2 hours, but more if you take a picnic and plan to walk around the lake and relax.
