GLENSTONE MUSEUM

This gigantic museum of contemporary art is distinguished by its setting, which combines architecture and nature. Opened in 2006, it has undergone several expansions and now houses nearly 1,300 post-war works. Among the artists on display, both within the museum walls and in the heart of the vast outdoor campus, are Jeff Koons, Richard Serra and Cy Twombly. In 2019, the museum acquired the work The Eye is the First Circle by female artist Lee Krasner for a record $11.7 million.
