ROCK PAINTINGS

There are many rock painting sites in the region, whose activity will extend even almost a century after the conquest. Paintings are generally present along the rocky walls of canyons, in areas that are not easily accessible. Some of the sites are protected, others are open to the four winds (generally the least accessible). Contact a local guide or the municipal tourist office if you would like to visit them.
