Ideally located at the southern end of the superb Mont Choisy beach, frequented by tourists, expatriates and Mauritians alike, this is a human-scale hotel that exudes a taste for travel and encounters. The decor is just the way we like it, with 35 comfortable pepsy rooms, a panoramic bar, a varied cuisine menu, a lovely infinity pool... and this little Hindu temple on the sand like a symbol. Multicultural, it's a pleasant home base from which to radiate.

Un hôtel très bien placé mais qui fait office aussi de bar. Un endroit idéal pour finir sa journée autour d'un verre. Décontraction totale et cadre magnifique????

Hotel is close to Mont Choisy public beach, not too far from Grand Baie, where closest markets are. If want to eat out, there is few restaurants nearby walk distance. Hotel is not too big or too small, perfect for our trip. Stuff is very nice and helpful. We took only breakfeast, so we could go to local restaurants easily to taste different lunch and dinners.

The rooms lack basic cleanliness, dirty curtains (probably never replaced), doors never close properly, there are gaps between the balcony windows so you will find some mosquitos in your room, the hotel's technicians dont event bother to fix it, they simply use ducktape to close the gap :) That's just one side of a story and you can live with that. The most important part is that your belongings and money are never safe. I left my backpack in the locked luggage room, my wallet and my belongings were torn apart. I don't expect to get my money back but I hope that my review will help someone to choose wisely and skip this hotel. The management will not help you and there are no CCTV footage available :) at first they asked to delete this comment and give them some time to start the investigation but I was never informed about the process. Turns out there was no investigation at all. They just didn't want other guests to see this comment.
P.S. when I arrived I was told by other visitors that they are missing money from the rooms and I couldn't believe it but apparently that was true. Avoid it.

I strongly recommend you to avoid this hotel! We left our money in a hidden wallet in a backpack in a luggage room for a couple of hours, while we were chilling by the pool and waiting for the taxi. Unfortunately, only in a taxi on a way to different hotel we noticed that we don't have how to pay for the taxi anymore! We contacted General Manager of the hotel and he told us that we will get our stolen money back, but only if we delete our reviews on different platforms. We agreed, but it's been a month and he is still saying that they are conducting "investigation". What "investigation"? You can check CCTV footage - it's simple as that, but probably there isn't CCTV footage at all..
I have all the communication with General Manager, communication with different platforms asking them to delete reviews, but honestly now I just want to warn others - be careful. Hotel staff can keep the money - it's seriously shocking how some cash is more important than hotel's reputation..

Very nice hotel, great pool, great rooms, great concept overall. Special thanks to anish and anishda who made our holidays even better for providing an amazing service at dinner and breakfast. The rest of the crew also did a great job of course. Would definitely recommend this hotel to spend the holidays.
