Beautiful sanctuary following a Greek cross plan with a circular apse.

On the western shore, standing on a 640-metre rocky promontory that drops steeply to the lake, this beautiful sanctuary with its 18th-century church, bell tower and presbytery is striking for its Baroque volumes both inside and out. The view from this vantage point is bound to be spectacular. The building follows a Greek cross plan, with a circular apse. Note the altar, decorated with Fermo Stella da Caravaggio's Deposition from the Cross (16th century).
