NISHIKAWA YOSHISOME

This family business, founded in 1946, retains the charm of the craftsmanship of yesteryear. Its main activity is hand-dyeing and printing tenugui, those fine Japanese cotton towels. Thanks to this experience, you put yourself in the shoes of a craftsman and try to reproduce all the stages of production, which is not an easy task. It is also an opportunity to discover the underside of a local Sakai handicraft. The experience lasts about 2 hours. A small shop allows to buy directly the main tenugui of the house.
