On a shady square, the tavern offers a few tables in the lower part of the village. Here you will taste the real traditional cuisine of Naxos, turned towards the land and not really towards seafood. Matina, who works beautifully in the kitchen, prepares goat with tomato, lamb with lemon or baked briam like no one else. Everyone meets there for endless lunches or simply to drink coffee. Inside, be sure to take a look at the photographs from the time when the cable car was still running.
