MINIATURES FROM CYPRUS

Created in 2015, this open-air museum (Minia Kıbrıs Müzesi) is located next to the church of Panagia Pergaminiotissa. It houses reproductions of 25 monuments of Cyprus, most of them on a scale of 1:25. This is a partial view of the national heritage, as only one monument from the southern part is featured here: the Hala-Sultan tekké on the outskirts of Larnaka. On the northern side, the abbey of Bellapaïs is absent, but the theater of Salamine, the Apostolos Andreas monastery on Cape Saint-André and the Selimiye mosque in Nicosia are included.
