It is when you go to Billings that you take the measure of the poor demographic occupation of Montana (8 th least populated state in the country without counting Alaska). With just over 100,000 inhabitants Billings represents the most populous city in the state. Named after Frederick H. Billings, president of the Northern Pacific Railroad railway company, she developed precisely thanks to the arrival of the railway. Today, it positions itself as the main city of northern Wyoming and eastern Montana and focuses most of the shops and hotel offer in the region. Its pleasant center has not said anything of its kind but brings together a significant number of restaurants and attractions including historic sites and quality museums. Just a few kilometers away, the only zoo in Montana is a unique habitat for the different species of the park. A little further away, it is Pompeys Pillar's national monument to observe the mark of Captain Clark's passage during the Lewis and Clark expedition and Pictograph Cave site, where more than 100 pictograms and rock paintings are concentrated, some of which date from prehistory.
